LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Aug. 27, 2026) – Silver State Equality, Nevada’s statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights advocacy nonprofit, today announced its endorsement of Aaron Ford for Nevada Governor.
“As Nevada Attorney General, and throughout his career, Aaron Ford has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to equality, fairness and good governance for Nevadans. He has put people before politics, listening to the concerns of Nevadans and showing up to do the work, demonstrating the ability to lead with conviction to move Nevada forward. That is the kind of leadership our state needs right now,” said Silver State Equality State Director André C. Wade. “Nevadans are tired of empty promises from lawmakers while they face a relentless cost-of-living crisis. At the same time, far-right politicians continue efforts to undermine the rights and freedoms of our communities. This election is our chance to elect a governor who will put the people – all the people – of Nevada first. Silver State Equality is proud to endorse Aaron Ford for Governor of Nevada. We are confident that he will bring the same integrity, commitment and dedication to the Governor’s office that he has demonstrated throughout his career. We look forward to working alongside him to protect the rights, safety and well-being of LGBTQ+ Nevadans and continue advancing equality for all.”
