LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Jan. 28, 2026) – Today, Silver State Equality, Nevada’s statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights advocacy nonprofit, announces the pro-forma endorsement of 28 candidates running for Nevada state legislative office. Each candidate received a 100 percent score by Silver State Equality in its 2025 Nevada Legislative Scorecard.

“Silver State Equality is calling on voters, advocates and allies to step up and take action by registering to vote, volunteering, donating and turning out in record numbers,” said Silver State Equality State Director André C. Wade. “The organization is intensifying its efforts to ensure LGBTQ+ leaders and allies are not only represented in government but are also writing the laws, setting the agenda and blocking dangerous rollbacks targeting LGBTQ+ people, reproductive freedom, free speech, voting rights, civil liberties, and democracy itself.”

According to Wade, recent special elections across the country, where far-right MAGA-aligned candidates were decisively defeated, underscores the momentum of this movement. He said Silver State Equality is prepared to endorse more candidates, build more people power, and aggressively campaign as part of our biggest electoral efforts in organizational history.
