LAS VEGAS — Silver State Equality, Nevada’s statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, released the following statement from State Director André Wade in response to the terrorist attacks in Israel:
“We are devastated by the horrific violence unfolding in Israel that has claimed the lives of hundreds of innocent people. These terrorist attacks have ripped apart families and communities, and the pain they have caused can be felt across the globe. Our love and condolences are with all of those impacted by these tragedies. In the face of increasing anti-semitism in Nevada, we stand in unwavering solidarity with the Jewish community here, and abroad. We join countless others in calling for an eventual end to the violence that continues to impact the lives of those in Israel and Palestine.”
