Register to VoteEarly Voting: Begins: October 17, 2026 Ends: October 30, 2026 Election Day: November 3, 2026 Nevada voters can find polling locations and official mail ballot drop boxes through the Nevada Secretary of State’s voter resources. Register to Vote: Eligible Nevada voters can register to vote, update their registration, or check their registration status online at Vote.NV.gov. Online registration requires a current Nevada DMV-issued driver’s license or identification card. Nevada offers same-day voter registration, allowing eligible voters to register or update their registration in person during Early Voting and on Election Day. Voters registering in person should be prepared to provide the identification and residency documentation required under Nevada law. If you do not have a Nevada DMV-issued driver’s license or ID, you can register through your county election office or submit a paper voter registration application. Vote By Mail All active registered Nevada voters will automatically receive a mail ballot unless they opted out of receiving one. Complete your ballot, place it in the provided postage-paid return envelope, and sign the outside of the envelope before returning it. You can return your ballot by mail or drop it off at an official ballot drop box in your county. If you return your ballot in person, drop it off before polls close on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Official drop boxes are available at polling locations, including Early Voting locations. If you return your ballot by mail, it must be postmarked on or before November 3, 2026, and received by your county election official no later than 5:00 p.m. on November 7, 2026, the fourth day after Election Day. The Nevada Secretary of State recommends mailing your ballot by October 27 to help ensure it arrives on time. Make sure you use the return envelope provided specifically for your ballot and sign the envelope before returning it. Do not place your ballot in another voter’s return envelope. If the postmark on a mailed ballot cannot be determined, Nevada law allows the ballot to be treated as timely if it is received by 5:00 p.m. on the third day after Election Day, provided the other requirements are met.
