Important Deadlines: 2020 General Election – November 3, 2020 Register to Vote: Online: By October 29, 2020 — click “Register to Vote” below to register or update your registration if you have moved or changed your name. Same-day registration is available at any in-person polling place during Early Voting (Oct. 17-30) and on Election Day (Nov. 3). Early Voting: Begins: October 17, 2020 Ends: October 30, 2020 Absentee Ballots: Request by: October 20, 2020 Return by: Must be postmarked by Tuesday, November 3, 2020 OR returned in-person by 7:00 PM on Tuesday November 3. Note: ALL registered voters will receive a mail in ballot this year. Register to Vote Vote By Mail Vote By Mail All registered, active voters will receive a ballot in the mail this year. Simply fill out your ballot (you don’t need to vote for every office), seal it in it’s included pre-paid postage envelope, SIGN THE ENVELOPE on the outside, and drop it in the mailbox. NOTE: Ballots must be postmarked ON or BEFORE Tuesday, November 3, 2020, and received by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 10th. If you don’t get your receive in the mail by October 17, 2020, immediately contact your local Elections Department at (702) 455-8683 for Clark County or (775) 328-3670 for Washoe County. You can also fill out your mail-in ballot and drop it off. Instead of mailing your ballot, fill it out, as described above, SIGN THE ENVELOPE, and drop off your ballot at any early voting site or Election Day vote center of your choice from October 17-30, 2020 or November 3, 2020. You can have a person, ideally a trusted family member or friend, mail or drop-off your completed ballot on your behalf to any early vote or Election Day location.
